After I found the right firmware from motox's site (motorola stock unbranded) I was able to set up the phone the way I like it, and now it works like a charm. Now I can enter 'ste' and it shows me all names that begin with 'ste'.Īnother thing that took some getting used to was Motorola's implementation of the T9.
So if you wanted to for example call Steven you could only jump to the letter S and had to scroll down to get to Steven. The first thing I did was flashing the phone with a new firmware that I got from so the phonebook became useable.(In the standard configuration you could only jump to one letter and not use multiple letter search).
